Celosia is a new take on the artisanal production process typical of terracotta with the aim of giving birth to imperfect and tactile elements that come from earth, marked by the hand of man and time passing by. Roof tiles, bricks, hollow bricks and partition walls are undone, unstructured and re-interpreted in a new way, keeping the traditional touch given by the handcrafted production.
Aesthetically unique and extremely functional design elements are thus created, in the 20,5×26,5x10cm nominal size. They allow limitless solutions for indoors and outdoors, in both commercial and residential spaces.
Celosia represents the wish to explore out of two-dimensional spaces typical of standard wall covering, which is translated into the experimentation of three-dimensional bricks. Shapes and composition recall the Roman numbering system, and the sequence in which the elements are laid creates dynamic and unique designs.
