Bachelor Gulch Residence, Colorado

Project: Bachelor Gulch Residence
Location: Beaver Creek, Colorado

Set within the exclusive gated community of Bachelor Gulch in Beaver Creek, Colorado—steps away from the renowned Ritz Carlton and with direct access to the ski slopes—this 7,000 sq ft private residence is a tribute to alpine serenity and refined Italian design.

With five bedrooms and eight bathrooms, the residence unfolds across multiple levels, combining generous private spaces with inviting areas for gathering and relaxation. At the heart of the home lies a warm and elegant living area connected to a fully customized Ernestomeda kitchen, featuring a large island at its center—ideal for entertaining, family meals, or accommodating professional catering. A luxurious family lounge on the lower level, furnished with a Poliform sofa, opens onto a private spa with pool and sauna, and a spacious terrace offering outdoor dining and panoramic views of the mountains.

A profound connection to the surrounding landscape defines the entire project. Expansive, nearly frameless windows dissolve the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, immersing the interiors in natural light and framing the alpine setting from every angle. The design is guided by the client’s love for calm, understated elegance and a grey-toned palette that flows consistently throughout. Most bathrooms feature elements by Antoniolupi, while the primary bath stands out with its full stone cladding in Salvatori’s Gris du Marais, where texture becomes the dominant language. Closets and select furnishings, including beds, sofas, and coffee tables, were provided by Poliform, while the main dining table and chairs designed by Rodolfo Dordoni for Molteni&C add refinement and warmth.
